The Apex Legends Open 2025 (ALGS Open) is one of the largest and most exciting events in the history of Apex Legends esports. The tournament kicks off in May at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Concention Center, where 160 teams from across the globe, including 120 ALGS Pro League teams and 40 additional teams, will compete for the title. The tournament offers a massive prize pool of $1 million, with the top 40 teams receiving the prize money.

The series now includes a new points system, map pool, and prize distribution as compared to its earlier editions. The ALGS Open 2025 will also award championship points to individual players rather than teams. The competition will feature a double-elimination bracket, and the top five teams will earn direct slots to the Midseason Playoffs. With that being said, it’s all set to become a much-anticipated event of the year, and we are here to give you all the details.

ALGS Open Schedule 

The ALGS Open starts on 1 May 2025 and concludes on 4 May 2025. It’s set to be the biggest in-person Apex Legends competition in the history of esports, with 160 teams participating in the event. Attendees can expect four days of action-packed schedule and game play, meet and greet with fan favorite teams and players, and more. The schedule isn’t live yet, but we have an overview of the schedule that is given below. 

  • Thursday, May 1: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM CDT
  • Friday, May 2: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM CDT
  • Saturday, May 3: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM CDT
  • Sunday, May 4: 1:15 PM – 9:30 PM CDT

ALGS Open Tickets

Tickets for the ALGS Open 2025 are available through Eventbrite.com. The prices start from $18 for general admission on Thursday and Friday. However, they get pricier for Saturday at $25, and the Sunday general admission is priced at $30. You can also enjoy the full event with a 4-Day general admission at $82. 

Children under the age of 2 don’t need a ticket, and attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket and government-issued ID. The tickets went on sale on 18 March and won’t be available for much longer now, so hurry up before it gets sold out.

Where To Watch ALGS Open

The event will be available for live streaming on Apex Legends Twitch channels, including the main broadcast and additional streams from content creators.
