Pragmatic Play strengthened its strong position within the iGaming industry at SBC Summit Rio 2025, showcasing its imaginative and prescient growth strategy for Latin America. The occasion highlighted the organization’s increase, new tasks, and commitment to strengthening its presence in the vicinity.

Pragmatic Play Sports: A New Chapter in Latin America

Gareth Crook, SVP of Sports at Pragmatic Play, unveiled the company’s latest venture Pragmatic Play Sports. This new vertical aims to capture the passionate Latin American market, with Brazil as its primary focus.

“Latin America is passionate about football, and we have developed a strong product backed by official data from the world’s top rights holders. Brazil is a key market, and we are excited to present our offering here,” Crook said.

Beyond Olympus: A Unique Experience for Partners

One of the key moments of the event was Víctor Arias’ presentation, where he introduced Pragmatic Play’s “Beyond Olympus” initiative. This innovative approach goes beyond business relationships, offering immersive experiences that strengthen the brand’s connection with partners.

“For us, it is essential that our partners experience the brand beyond a product presentation. Last year, we had great success with this initiative, and this year, we have taken the strategy to another level,” Arias explained.

Strengthening the Brand with Strategic Alliances

Pragmatic Play has also expanded its brand influence through high-profile collaborations, including a partnership with Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most renowned entertainment events.

“Since we began in Latin America, our vision was to do something different. We introduced elegance and formality, setting a precedent in the industry. Tomorrowland is the global benchmark for entertainment events, and this synergy enhances our brand in the region,” Arias stated.

Navigating Brazil’s Regulatory Changes

With Brazil transitioning from an unregulated to a regulated market, Arias addressed both the challenges and opportunities this shift presents.

“Today, with clearer regulations, we see how the market is adapting to the new requirements, and growth continues throughout the region. However, this also compels us to rethink strategies to stay ahead,”  he said.
