What’s Coming in the Mario Kart World Direct?
So far, we know that the Direct will reveal some major updates. Fans can expect a deep dive into:
- Free Roam Mode – A new way to play where you can drive around without racing. Explore tracks at your own pace.
- Knockout Tour – A new game mode that might work like a battle royale. Players could be eliminated one by one until only one is left.
These features sound super fun and different from the usual racing format. Nintendo has not shown everything yet, so there may be more surprises during the Direct.
New Characters and Switch 2 Features
We already got small teasers before, but this Direct will show the full list of characters. Some new faces might join Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser on the track. The game will also take full advantage of Switch 2’s power, which means better graphics, smoother controls, and faster loading.
Pre-Orders, Price, and Game Bundles
If you’re in the UK, you can already pre-order Mario Kart World as part of a special Switch 2 bundle. But in the United States, pre-orders haven’t opened yet. Nintendo is expected to share more info about that soon.
As for pricing, the game is set to cost $80 in the US. Some fans think that’s a bit high, but today’s Direct might explain what makes the game worth the price. If it’s packed with new modes, tracks, and characters, it could be a great deal.
