The ESL Pro League 2023 Calendar, your complete reference to the biggest esports competitions, was just unveiled. Set a reminder and stay on top of the competitive gaming scene. Not a single moment of action should be missed.
The ESL Pro League Season 18 is planned to start on August 30 and run until October 1 St. Julians, Malta at the opulent InterContinental Malta hotel. It is one of the biggest international Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) events of the year in the eSports industry.
The ESL Pro League Season 18 will feature up to 32 teams competing for a share of the $850,000 prize pool, with $20,000 going to the tournament’s victor.
Two of the greatest events on the eSports calendar, the IEM Katowice 2024 and the BLAST World Final 2023, will both offer berths to the event’s victor.
Formats:
The group stage and the playoffs stages of the 18th season of the CS:GO ESL Pro League have two distinct formats. The group stage consists of four groups, each with eight teams. There will be a triple-elimination tournament with a best-of-three format for each and every match.
In the 18th season of the CS:GO ESL Pro League, the winners of each group move directly to the quarterfinals, while the losers are given a spot in the Round of 12. The high and low seeds for the Playoffs will be the third- and fourth-placed clubs, respectively.
A single-elimination bracket is used in the playoff stage, which is simpler. Except for the Grand Finals of the Season 18 of the CS:GO ESL Pro League, all games in this phase will be best-of-three series.
