On the first day of the PMGO 2024 Qualifier Finals, Groups A and B completed their initial five matches each. They are set to resume their remaining fixtures on March 29th, with the top eight teams from each group advancing to Day 3. The top 16 teams will then compete in six matches on March 30th, with the winner advancing to the main event and the second to ninth-ranked teams proceeding to the Prelims.
After the conclusion of Day 1, Zebra Masters from Brazil emerged as the leading team in Group A, followed by INCO Gaming and Insanity Sports in second and third place, respectively. In Group B, Team Falcons, featuring ex-Stalwarts Esports athletes, claimed the top position, with Ground Zero Mercenaries and Royals of War securing second and third place.

In Group A of the PMGO stage, both Zebra Masters and INCO Gaming secured 48 points each on the opening day. Additionally, Insanity, Invictus, and Money Makers delivered strong performances, accumulating 45, 43, and 39 points, respectively. Notably, these top five teams from Day 1 all originate from Brazil. They will strive to maintain their consistency in the upcoming matches on the second day of the Global Open Qualifiers Finals.
