Tekkz & Matias Bonanno Dominate ePremier League Group Stages

Tekkz and Matias Bonanno made an impressive debut as a duo at the ePremier League Group Stages, maintaining an unbeaten record and securing Man City Esports’ place in the competition’s Finals Knockouts.

Ahead of the event in London, the City duo spent time together refining their preparations, overcoming a challenging start to the season at the FC Pro Open.

Determined to showcase their winning form, Tekkz and Mati kicked off their campaign in the Group Stages against Chelsea. Bonanno faced off against Conkai on PlayStation, while Tekkz battled JSharp on Xbox. Despite closely contested matches, City earned four points with Mati’s 3-2 victory and Tekkz’s 5-5 draw.

The team displayed confidence on the ePrem stage, and their performance continued to improve in the second clash.

Bonanno delivered an unstoppable performance, securing a 6-1 victory over Burnley’s Salmanahmed, while Tekkz added three points with a 4-2 win against Brad Colston, maintaining our top position in Group A.

Both City Esports Pros maintained their momentum, with Mati securing a second consecutive 6-1 win, this time against West Ham’s GRK. Tekkz faced a close match but clinched another victory for City with a 5-3 triumph over Brigarmy17.

Despite already leading Group A, Mati and Tekkz concluded an extraordinary evening with an undefeated streak. Facing Everton’s Zanieri and Chris Jakeman, Mati secured a 4-1 victory, while Tekkz dominated with an impressive 8-0 win. City emerged as the only team to go unbeaten throughout the evening, scoring an incredible 41 goals.

Tekkz and Matias will resume ePremier League action on March 24, aiming to be crowned ePremier League champions and earn a spot at the UEFA eChampions League and the FC Pro World Championships.
