Niclas Mouritzen began playing video games when he was a small child. The person who originally introduced him to video games was his stepfather, an IT professional. As a result, he acquired his first computer when he was four and loved playing video games in his free time.

How did Pengu get Fame:

At a very young age, Pengu began playing video games. He has had an eSports career in his dreams since he was four years old. He was fortunate to have his family’s support in order to succeed.

But he found that journey difficult at first. Pengu started off by playing Counter-Strike and League of Legends, which were the two most played games at the moment. Sadly, he failed to succeed in getting through. However, when Rainbow Six: Siege was out, he saw a wonderful chance. 

He joined the PENTA Team in 2016 and eventually began to advance. Since then, he has participated in all the major competitions and always produces outstanding results. He is now well-known for being a Twitch streamer and a professional Rainbow Six: Siege player. 

Debut as an esports player:

Pengu turned to Rainbow Six: Siege as soon as it appeared after attempting his luck with LoL and CS. He received offers from two organizations, and he decided on PENTA Sports. Additionally, he participated in this German team from 2016 to 2018. 

Pengu participated in a number of outstanding R6 Siege competitions while representing PENTA Sports, where he reached the championship round:

He later shifted his entire team to G2 Esports and agreed to a long-term deal with them. Pengu was so free to concentrate entirely on his training and profession. And based on how he performed in his tournaments in 2019 and 2020, he is indeed achieving that. 

At several important competitions, his team specifically conquered and took first place:

• Paris (2018), Six Major
• Season 7 of the Pro League in 2018
• Winter (2018)’s DreamHack
• Invitational Six for 2019

In addition, the Six Invitational 2019 gave him his largest reward to date ($160 000). Over the course of 26 tournaments, he took part and earned about $375,500. Pengu makes money via his Twitch channel and sponsorships at the same time.

A Rainbow Six: Siege streamer named Niclas Mouritzen maintains a Twitch channel. On Twitch and YouTube, he has over 800,000 and 600,000 followers, respectively. Pengu is among the most well-known gaming streamers for R6 Siege as a result. But he is renowned for his vehement ideas and combative outbursts.
