How did Pengu get Fame:

At a very young age, Pengu began playing video games. He has had an eSports career in his dreams since he was four years old. He was fortunate to have his family’s support in order to succeed.

But he found that journey difficult at first. Pengu started off by playing Counter-Strike and League of Legends, which were the two most played games at the moment. Sadly, he failed to succeed in getting through. However, when Rainbow Six: Siege was out, he saw a wonderful chance.

He joined the PENTA Team in 2016 and eventually began to advance. Since then, he has participated in all the major competitions and always produces outstanding results. He is now well-known for being a Twitch streamer and a professional Rainbow Six: Siege player.

Debut as an esports player:

Pengu turned to Rainbow Six: Siege as soon as it appeared after attempting his luck with LoL and CS. He received offers from two organizations, and he decided on PENTA Sports. Additionally, he participated in this German team from 2016 to 2018.

Pengu participated in a number of outstanding R6 Siege competitions while representing PENTA Sports, where he reached the championship round:

  • 2016 saw the first season of the Pro League.
  • First season of Pro League Year 2 (2017)
  • Season 2 of Pro League Year 2 was released in 2017.
  • Third season of Pro League Year 2 (2017)
  • Invitational Six (2018)
  • Season 7 of Pro League in 2018
  • OGA Pit Season 1: Europe (2018)

He later shifted his entire team to G2 Esports and agreed to a long-term deal with them. Pengu was so free to concentrate entirely on his training and profession. And based on how he performed in his tournaments in 2019 and 2020, he is indeed achieving that.

At several important competitions, his team specifically conquered and took first place:

  • Paris (2018), Six Major
  • Season 7 of the Pro League in 2018
  • Winter (2018)’s DreamHack
  • Invitational Six for 2019

In addition, the Six Invitational 2019 gave him his largest reward to date ($160 000). Over the course of 26 tournaments, he took part and earned about $375,500. Pengu makes money via his Twitch channel and sponsorships at the same time.

Pengu’s Streaming:

A Rainbow Six: Siege streamer named Niclas Mouritzen maintains a Twitch channel. On Twitch and YouTube, he has over 800,000 and 600,000 followers, respectively. Pengu is among the most well-known gaming streamers for R6 Siege as a result. But he is renowned for his vehement ideas and combative outbursts. His occasional outbursts of rage nearly cost him his job once. Thankfully, he heeded this advice and modified his actions. Due to the absence of new controversies, Pengu went on to develop a prosperous career.

A professional Rainbow Six: Siege player and Twitch streamer, Niclas Mouritzen is best known by the alias Pengu. He’s a member of the G2 Esports team at the moment. But his work for PENTA Sports is what has made him more well-known. He took part in several significant R6 Siege competitions during that time and supported the PENTA Sports squad in their victories in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

In addition, after moving to G2 Esports in 2019, the group won both the Six Invitational and Six Major Paris. And he’s probably just getting started, given his dedication and perseverance. From the time he was four years old, Pengu had the desire to become a professional gamer. He is pursuing his boyhood goal as a result, and he has managed to stay out of major scandals. He hasn’t currently been subject to a formal suspension or ban.

He is known for having strong opinions, though. Therefore, it should not come as a surprise that Pengu has accounts on several social media platforms, and his following is growing. Only the Twitch channel where he streams Rainbow Six: Siege has more than 800,000 subscribers as of now.

Pengu’s Net Worth:

Pengu won more than $375,500 in total from competitions alone. Gaming is his primary source of revenue. He receives a lot of sponsorships and donations at the same time. And of course there are his Twitch subscriptions, team salary, and other sources of money like commercials.
