How to Register for the Winter Poker Festival
1. Get Your MVP Rewards Card
- Required for all tournament entries.
- Free to sign up with a valid ID (18+).
- Available at the MVP Rewards Desk near the cashier.
2. Tournament Registration
- Register at the Casino Cashier Cage.
- Bring your MVP Rewards Card and valid ID.
- Registration opens two hours before each event.
- No refunds or exchanges after registration.
3. Late Entries & Alternates
- Late entry and re-entry are allowed in all events.
- Blind structure sheets provide level details and registration periods.
- Waitlisted players are seated based on registration order.
Key Tournament Rules & Formats
Tag-Team NLH ($150/$300)
- Two-player teams must register and check in together.
- Teams cannot be changed once registered.
Mystery Bounty NLH ($400)
- Players who make Day 2 qualify for the mystery bounty.
- Players can only bag once; re-entry into another flight is not allowed.
- Valid ID required to claim chip bag on Day 2.
Seniors NLH ($250)
- Open to players 50+ years old on the day of play.
- Valid ID required for age verification.
Mega Stack NLH ($400) & Main Event ($800)
- Best Bag Forward Rule: If you bag multiple times, only your largest stack moves to Day 2.
- All players bagging chips for Day 2 are in the money.
Tournament Policies
- TDA rules apply—standard tournament rules enforced.
- Decisions are final. The tournament director has the last word on disputes.
- Event changes: Canterbury Park reserves the right to modify or cancel events.
