Rockstar Games has always filled its titles with exciting side activities, and GTA 6 is expected to continue this tradition. From the trailers and screenshots we’ve seen so far, there are hints that mini-games will play a big role once again. While new activities are almost certain, many fans hope that some classics from past GTA games make a comeback.
Here are five mini-games that deserve to return in GTA 6.
1) Pool
Pool has always been a fan favorite in GTA games. Players enjoyed it in San Andreas, where CJ could challenge strangers in bars for money, and in GTA 4, where Niko could play with friends.
Including pool in GTA 6 would bring back that same casual fun. The bar setting in Vice City–style locations would make it even more immersive. It could also be a great addition to GTA Online, letting players relax and compete against friends when they’re not causing chaos on the streets.
2) Lowrider Challenge
The Lowrider Challenge from San Andreas was short but memorable. Using hydraulics to make your car dance to the beat was not only fun but also a true reflection of street culture.
Since GTA 6 is based in a Florida-inspired setting where car culture is strong, this mini-game could return in a bigger way. Imagine full lowrider competitions, custom songs, NPC judges, and even online tournaments where players show off their car moves.
3) Boxing
Boxing wasn’t a dedicated mini-game before, but training in gyms in San Andreas gave players a taste of it. Now, with GTA 6 showing Lucia wearing a golden boxing glove necklace and practicing hand-to-hand combat, the chances of boxing returning look strong.
Rockstar could expand it into full boxing matches or underground fight clubs. Players could train their characters, participate in tournaments, and even gamble on fights in GTA Online. This would add both variety and realism to the game.
4) Bowling
“Let’s go bowling!” GTA 4 players will never forget Roman’s invitations. Bowling was a simple yet enjoyable mini-game that gave players a break from missions and action.
GTA 6 could bring it back with better graphics, improved ball physics, and even online multiplayer matches. Bowling alleys could serve as social hubs in Vice City, where players meet up before heading back into the action.
5) BMX Challenge
The BMX Challenge from San Andreas tested players’ skill with stunts and speed. Collecting floating checkpoints while riding through parks made it both fun and challenging.
A modern version in GTA 6 could be much bigger. Multiple BMX parks, time-based challenges, and online PvP races could make this mini-game a fan favorite again. Rockstar could even add tricks and combos, making BMX riding feel like its own small sport inside the game.
