Clash of Clans (CoC) continues to stay strong even after many years. One of the main reasons behind its success is regular updates from Supercell. The game keeps changing with new heroes, pets, balance updates and seasonal content. Because of this, players are always excited to know what is coming next.
After the February 2026 update introduced major features, the next big update is expected very soon. Let us look at what players can expect in the upcoming Clash of Clans update.
When Is The Next Clash of Clans (CoC) Update?
The last update arrived in February 2026. That update brought the new hero Dragon Duke, fresh pet additions and changes to the Gold Pass system.
While Supercell has not announced an exact release date for the next update, a new season begins on March 1. In Clash of Clans, seasonal updates usually launch at the start of a new month along with the Gold Pass reset.
So, players can expect new content to arrive from March 1, 2026.
What Is Coming In The March 2026 Update?
March looks like an important month for the Clash of Clans community. Based on the season calendar and previous sneak peeks, several changes are expected.
New Clan War League Format
One of the biggest updates is related to Clan War League. A new 5v5 format will be introduced during the seven day war event. This change will make Clan War League more accessible for smaller clans.
Earlier, larger clans had more advantage. With this update, smaller groups can compete more easily and stay active in wars.
Gold Pass 2.0 Update
The Gold Pass system is also receiving a major update. The new version, known as Gold Pass 2.0, will launch from March 1.
This update is expected to improve rewards, progression and seasonal benefits. Players who regularly purchase the Gold Pass may notice better value and structured rewards.
New Pet Arrival
A new pet called Greedy Raven is expected to join the game. Leaks earlier hinted at this pet, and it is now scheduled to arrive with the new season.
New pets usually add fresh strategies in attacks and defense setups. Players will be looking forward to testing how this pet works with different heroes.
Dragon Duke Fully Playable
The Dragon Duke, introduced recently, will now become fully playable. After the community event called Unleash the Duke, the sixth hero has officially been unlocked.
This hero is expected to bring new attack styles and tactical options in high level gameplay.
Balance Changes
Supercell has already revealed some balance changes during earlier sneak peeks. These updates aim to improve game balance and adjust certain troops or defenses.
Balance updates help keep the game fair and competitive. They also refresh strategies for experienced players.
