During the event, Eman Pulis, the founder of the SiGMA Group met the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, H.E – H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saqr Al Qassimi.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi is the eldest son of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
In 2010, Sheikh Mohammed was appointed Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah by his father. He graduated from the Ras Al Khaimah Academy and earned a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
After returning from the United States in 2009, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saqr Al Qassimi joined the Ruler’s Court and has since led several initiatives to improve Ras Al Khaimah’s government. He also introduced the Mohammed Bin Saud Housing Rehabilitation Programme which focuses on expanding the Emirate’s industrial and tourism sectors.

During their meeting, Eman and the honourable Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saqr Al Qassimi talked about strengthening collaboration, driving innovation, and creating new opportunities in the Gaming, Blockchain, and emerging technology sectors.
It has to be noted that the UAE is making major progress in transforming its entertainment and tourism sectors, especially with the licensing of international gaming operators. Wynn Resorts recently received the country’s first commercial gaming license, allowing them to develop Wynn Al Marjan Island, a luxury resort in Ras Al Khaimah.
Once a hub for gaming, Macau now faces competition as Ras Al Khaimah is positioning itself as the new center for gaming in the region. The UAE is also growing in the esports industry, with events like the Dubai Esports and Games Festival and significant investments in esports infrastructure, further establishing itself as a key player in competitive gaming.
The gaming sector’s growth is attracting talent from all over the world, boosting job opportunities, and diversifying the UAE’s economy. With these developments, Ras Al Khaimah is set to take the lead as the new gaming hub in the near future.
