SBC Summit 2025 Launches Marketing Academy With Gary Vaynerchuk AMA

Gary Vaynerchuk, well-known entrepreneur and marketing powerhouse, will open the very first Marketing Academy at SBC Summit 2025 with an exclusive Ask Me Anything (AMA) session.

This session will mark the start of SBC Summit’s biggest educational project yet, the Tech Academies. There will be four full-day academies focused on AI, Marketing, Web 3.0 & Blockchain, plus a new academy that will be announced soon. Each one is designed to offer interactive, hands-on learning from top global experts, and they are open to anyone interested in tech, not only people in the gaming industry.

The Marketing Academy is one of the cornerstones of this programme. It brings together a world-class mix of speakers including Gary Vee, content creators, PR professionals, seasoned marketers, and SEO specialists. The event takes place on Wednesday, 17 September at Sala Tejo, part of the MEO Arena.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, said: “With Tech Academies, we’re making an ambitious upgrade to SBC’s educational programme. It’s a new layer of value for attendees, giving them direct access to world-class expertise they can take home and apply where it matters most.”

Gary’s AMA will kick off the Marketing Academy, inspired by his New York Times bestseller Day Trading Attention. It will be a lively and interactive discussion where attendees can ask him directly about winning and converting underpriced attention through social media, paid advertising, influencer campaigns, and emerging brand channels.

Sojmark added: “Gary will, of course, deliver a keynote on the Super Stage, but we also wanted him at the Marketing Academy, where the setting is a little different. It’s more direct, more immediate, and the focus is firmly on practical insights. And let’s be honest, one session with Gary Vaynerchuk would never be enough.”

Following that, attendees can join “The Fundamentals of Marketing: A Strategy that Makes Your CFO Lean in,” led by marketing expert Thomas Balling Rasmussen. With decades of experience in sports betting and iGaming, including his role as Group Marketing Director at Betsson, Rasmussen now advises global brands like Entain. He is also helping SBC with marketing for the Legends Charity Game, where Portugal Legends will face World Legends to raise €1,000,000 for charity. His masterclass will explore how to get the most from your marketing budget by moving from simply meeting demand to actively creating it, using strategies that can get any CFO’s approval.

Another highlight is “From Myths to Methods: Advanced SEO Tactics That Move the Needle,” a deep dive into building a modern SEO approach. Experts Sean Bianco (Co-Founder, Gainchanger), James Dooley (Chairman, Searcharoo), Craig Campbell (SEO Trainer and Consultant, Craig Campbell SEO), and Karl Hudson (Founder, Searcharoo) will cover the future of backlinks, Navboost strategies, and high-ROI tactics that connect technical SEO with user engagement for lasting results.

The Marketing Academy will also feature two focused sessions on brand protection and influencer marketing.

In “Communication is Everything: Hear from a Leading PR Professional,” Edie Lush, a communications trainer, event MC, and journalist, will share insights on protecting brand identity in a world of instant news and online attention. She will discuss crisis communications, cause-driven marketing, and how charitable initiatives can boost brand equity without falling into “purpose-washing.”

The “Influencer Marketing: How to Use Social Media as a Primary Channel” session will bring together leading social media creators to show how brands can work with influencers to design campaigns that feel authentic and spread widely. As with all Tech Academies, this session offers value for professionals in every field, not just gaming.
