The latest live-action trailer of Battlefield 6 was just released, and fans quickly noticed that it was throwing a fun and subtle diss at the cross-over skins in Call of Duty. There has been a rivalry between the two games for a while, and it has been a topic of discussion between the FPS Community.

The live trailer showed celebrity camos with military aesthetics, unlike the cosmetic skins in Call of Duty.

Call of Duty is a game that is popular for its crossover cosmetic skins, and Battlefield 6’s trailer may just have sarcastically imitated the Call of Duty skins in it. While the rest of the trailer focused completely on the combat while displaying the multiple locations, gadgets, and other things, the subtle diss grabbed the attention of everyone watching.

After four years, this is the first time both these franchises are going to put out their new release in the same year. Polls have been circulating to assess which game releases fans are more excited for, and it appears that Battlefield is taking the win. 

By throwing this subtle jab at Call of Duty, Battlefield has surely tried to demonstrate that those who are tired of Call of Duty’s fantasy-themed, colorful cosmetic skin can alternatively go for Battlefield.

The Battlefield 6 Live Action Trailer has gained significant views within hours of its release on September 28th. It crossed over half a million views and threads of comments that found it all amusing, praising the marketing tactics of Battlefield.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will hit the market on November 14 and is one of the biggest games with a huge global loyal fanbase.
