The names of all the voice actors of the Black Ops 7 Zombies’ “newest” crew members have been confirmed. New intel has been posted, and the images for Call of Duty Black Ops 7 are out, and the long-time fans of the franchise couldn’t be more excited.

With the new visuals, teasers of the gameplay, and the intel about behind the scenes, one thing is clear: the game is heading back to its roots in a big way.

Before we dive into who the new voice cast is, let’s talk a little about what Black Ops 7 Zombies is all about.

Call Of Duty : Black Ops 7 Zombies

The Zombies storyline in Call of Duty has evolved dramatically ever since its debut in World at War. What began as a mere survival mode quickly transformed into an expansive narrative filled with time travel, parallel universes, apocalyptic science, and a cast of some deeply flawed yet unforgettable and unique characters.

Who are the new voice actors for the latest crew members?

The official handle recently posted the following details and got everyone excited. Treyarch treated the fans of the Call of Duty franchise with this big announcement, and those fans who are die-hard fans of the Zombies mode didn’t take long before expressing their excitement.

The latest zombie squad is basically bringing the iconic characters back into the spotlight from where it call began, since every new version of the gamehas  had new squads and different tones and stories along with the gameplay.

The cast is as follows:

  • Nikolai Belinski – Voiced by Fred Tatasciore

  • Edward Richtofen – Voiced by Nolan North

  • Tank Dempsey – Voiced by Steve Blum

  • Takeo Masaki – Voiced by Nelson Lee

Richtofen is the morally complex scientist who has a God-Complex and has been both the villain and the hero.

Demsey is the tough-as-nails soldier from America who brought humour and grit to the game.

Nikolia is one of those tragic characters, the Russian figure that is haunted by his past and adds layers and layers of sorrow and depth to the storyline.

This return is nostalgic for long-time fans and symbolic to many, as it suggests a return to the lore-heavy storytelling of the game in the golden era of Zombies. For fans, the original crew weren’t just characters but the heart of the game.  Black Ops 7 appears to be merging timelines, bringing the original crew into the modern storyline.

Each of these characters brings back to the fans the familiar voices, the iconic moments in the history of the game and is a sign that the earlier Zombie modes might just be returning to the game in full force.

Thoughts about the new team

The new team in Black Ops 7 Zombies is not merely a team of characters, but a revival of the old classic crew that made the game all the more legendary and tugs at the emotional connection that the players have formed with these characters.

This is why the new cast is a big deal. It is all about having re-established the tone, depth, and storytelling that had originally made the zombies a universe of their own, their narrative peak, which was between Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 4.

These four characters are more than mere avatars in a game; they form the soul of the experience of the gameplay. Players have watched them evolve and sacrifice to save their multiverse.

What to expect from the game?

A return of emotional arcs, conflicts spanning across universes, and a mystery that has kept fans talking for almost a decade now. Get ready, because the legends are back and they are going to lead the change.
