Clash of Clans (COC) is getting a major boost in the February 2026 update. Supercell has officially rolled out new upgrades for Town Hall 18, marking the first big improvement since TH18 was introduced in November 2025.
These changes aim to make battles more intense and strategic. Players who have already reached TH18 will now get fresh goals to grind for.

Several defenses, troops, spells, and even walls are getting higher levels.
Defensive Upgrades
- Giga Bomb – Level 4
- Seeking Air Mine – Level 8
- Mortar – Level 18
- Inferno Tower – Level 12
- Hidden Tesla – Level 17
- Firespitter – Level 3
- Spell Tower – Level 4
These upgrades will strengthen base defense, especially against air and hybrid attacks. Inferno Towers and Hidden Teslas getting new levels could make high level wars more challenging.
Troop Upgrades
- Witch and Super Witch – Level 8
- Hog Rider and Super Hog Rider – Level 15
- Lava Hound and Ice Hound – Level 8
- Electro Titan – Level 5
- Baby Dragon and Inferno Dragon – Level 12
- Archer and Super Archer – Level 14
These upgrades will improve both ground and air attack strategies. Hog Riders and Electro Titans becoming stronger may bring back popular spam attacks in high level gameplay.
Siege and Spell Upgrades
- Stone Slammer – Level 6
- Revive Spell – Level 5
The Revive Spell getting a new level could impact competitive clan wars. Stronger revived troops can change the outcome of close battles.
Other Important Additions
- Pet House – Level 12
- 75 new Wall pieces at Level 19
Upgrading walls remains a long grind, but adding 75 more Level 19 walls gives max players more defensive options.
Earthquake Spell Changes
One of the most interesting updates is the Earthquake Spell improvement.
Levels 6 to 8 Earthquake Spells are being added. More importantly, the spell now damages ground troops along with buildings and walls.
It also affects Earthquake Boots.
