Prepare for an exhilarating week of Dota 2 competition as the Games of the Future 2024 tournament commences in Kazan, Russia, starting from February 19 and concluding on February 25.
Hosted at the prestigious Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, this marquee eSports event organized by the All-Russian Federation of Phygital Sports will witness the clash of the world’s top 16 teams.
Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 Schedule, Dates, and Format
The tournament unfolds in two phases – the group stage and playoffs. Sixteen teams are divided into four groups, and the group stage, occurring from February 19-20, will follow a modified GSL format, with all matches in a best-of-three series.
Advancement to the Dota 2 quarter-finals awaits the top team from each group, while the second and third-placed teams enter Round 1 of the playoffs. Unfortunately, the bottom-placed team from each group faces elimination.
The playoffs feature a single-elimination bracket, with all matches adopting the best-of-three series format.

Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 Teams and Groups
Sixteen teams, including Phygital Games’ One Move and HYDRA, alongside 14 invited teams, will participate. However, Nigma Galaxy and nouns, initially invited, withdrew from the tournament.

Dota 2 Games of the Future 2024 Prize Pool
With a colossal total prize pool of $1 million USD, the champion will secure a significant cash prize of $350,000 USD. The second and third-placed teams will be awarded $160,000 USD and $120,000 USD, respectively.
