ManuBachoore Wins EA SPORTS FC World Cup 2025

ManuBachoore has secured his place in esports history after winning the EA SPORTS FC World Championship for the second time. The Dutch star defeated Brice Masson from Team Vitality in a thrilling 5-3 final, becoming the first player to ever win the title twice. At just 20 years old, he has already built a reputation as one of the best players in the competitive FIFA scene. His victory also came with a $250,000 prize, adding another highlight to his growing career.

An Unexpected Final Showdown

When the tournament began, few expected the final to be between ManuBachoore and Brice. ManuBachoore, despite being a former champion, had to fight his way in through the FC Pro World Championship Play-Ins at the 2025 Esports World Cup, making his journey much tougher. Brice entered the competition after a difficult season, including an early exit from the eChampions League without a single win. Yet, against all odds, both players rose above the tournament favorites to reach the last stage.

The Journey to the Top

The road to the final was anything but easy. Brice overcame big names like Nicolas “nicolas99fc” Villalba, Francesco “Obrun2002” Tagliafierro, and Levi de Weerd. ManuBachoore’s path included hard-fought victories against Leandro Peixoto, Jonas “Jonny” Wirth, and Guilherme “GuiBarros” Barros.

The 2025 Esports World Cup was massive in scale. 512 players competed in the last-chance qualifier, 48 fought through the play-ins, and 32 battled in the main event. Out of all of them, it was Brice and ManuBachoore who proved to be the strongest.

A Final Full of Drama

The last match kept fans on the edge of their seats. Brice started strong, taking the lead early, but ManuBachoore responded with quick goals, pulling ahead 4-2 by halftime. Brice managed to close the gap in the second half, but in the 85th minute, ManuBachoore scored the decisive fifth goal that sealed his victory.

By winning, ManuBachoore became not only the first-ever two-time EA SPORTS FC world champion but also just the second player to lift the Esports World Cup trophy.
“I came here through the play-ins. I wasn’t even sure I’d make it,” ManuBachoore said after the match. “Every time I play, it feels like living my dream.”

Impact on the Club Championship

This final wasn’t just about the world title it also affected the Club Championship race. ManuBachoore’s win for Team Liquid pushed the club into first place in the standings. Team Liquid also made history by becoming the first organization to win three tournaments in a single Esports World Cup event.

A Champion’s Legacy

From fighting through play-ins to lifting the trophy twice, his journey is a reminder that champions are made through resilience and focus.
