The Esports division of Nazara Technologies, NODWIN Gaming, has announced that it will buy out Ninja Global FZCO (Ninja), a business that produces video games and has esports assets in Turkey and the Middle East.
The agreement, according to the company, strengthens NODWIN’s delivery network for emerging markets worldwide and enables it to provide publishers and brands in Turkey and the Middle East better options.
This calculated action, which follows its October acquisition of the Games Marketing Services company PublishMe, strengthens NODWIN Gaming’s position in the expanding Turkish and Middle Eastern markets.

“As NODWIN Gaming actively broadens its global footprint, with a special focus on key emerging markets within the new BRICS+ global network, the integration of Ninja is a natural and essential step forward,” stated Akshat Rathee, managing director and co-funder of the company. This action puts us in a position to strengthen regional esports ecosystems and recognize and capitalize on numerous growing markets.
PUBG and Valorant are among the games developed by NODWIN, an esports and game development business that was founded in 2014 by Gautam Virk and Akshat Rathee. It asserts to have made a name for itself across the world in places like Turkey, the Middle East, Singapore, and South Asia.
It is supported by companies including Nazara, KRAFTON Inc., Sony Group Corporation, and JetSynthesys and interacts with professional esports athletes, teams, and content providers.

Since the beginning of the year, NODWIN Gaming has been making acquisitions. It recently revealed that, in an effort to broaden its young portfolio and increase its footprint in the international entertainment industry, it will acquire a 100% ownership in Comic Con India for INR 55 Cr ($6 Mn) in cash and stock.
Previous to that, it declared that it will be investing €8 Mn (about INR 71.8 Cr) in Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH, a German marketing services company for gaming and esports.
Additionally, it paid $2 million to acquire a 100% share in PublishME from Nazara and founder Ozgur Ozalp, the game marketing agency’s current owners, last year.
The parent firm of Nodwin Gaming, Nazara, had raised an additional INR 510 Cr from investors, including Nikhil Kamath of Zerodha and the SBI Mutual Fund. CEO Nitish Mittersain told Inc42 that the business planned to use the new funding to support game studios that could create high-caliber titles for both the Indian and international markets.
