Phil Pearson has officially resigned from his position as CEO of White Label Casinos, marking the end of a significant chapter for the company and its leadership. He played a key role in launching and building the brand after it separated from the iGaming Group in early 2023.
Pearson’s Journey with White Label Casinos
Phil Pearson began leading White Label Casinos in February 2023, following the company’s split from iGaming Group. Before becoming CEO, he worked in several leadership roles at iGaming Group, including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Sales and Account Management.
In a post shared on LinkedIn, Pearson reflected on his early years in the iGaming industry. He admitted that when he first became Head of Sales in 2017, he felt unprepared, but he worked long hours to learn and grow. Over time, he realized that the industry constantly evolves, often faster than anyone can fully keep up.
His Impact as CEO
During his time at White Label Casinos, Pearson focused on building a company culture based on inclusion, growth, and honesty. He shared that from the beginning, he aimed to create an environment where employees were encouraged to share knowledge, grow professionally, and feel supported.
While there were notable business achievements like reaching strong gross gaming revenue (GGR) goals and winning a legal case against the Swedish regulator Pearson said that the real highlights were always about the people. Supporting his team and watching them grow was what meant the most to him.
What’s Next for Pearson?
Phil Pearson has not shared exactly what he plans to do next. However, he did mention that he would take a break for the next three months, with plans to watch cricket and enjoy some well-deserved rest. After spending nine years working without a proper break (aside from a brief hospital stay in Mexico), he said it’s time to relax.
Though he might offer help to a few contacts in the industry, he’s not planning to take on anything major at least not yet. Interestingly, he joked that he may leave the iGaming industry altogether and pursue something completely different, like running a sandwich shop or an animal sanctuary, just as long as there are clear food safety rules in place.
A Heartfelt Goodbye
Pearson ended his announcement with a touching message about the people he worked with. He said that, although he once believed work teams were more like sports teams than families, he now understands that his team truly felt like a family one made by choice, not obligation.
White Label Casinos has not yet announced who will take over the CEO role.
