The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 is almost here, and fans are already excited. This is one of the biggest tournaments in PUBG Mobile esports, bringing together the top 40 teams from around the world. The event will start on November 24 and will continue until December 14 in Thailand. Teams will compete for the championship title and a prize pool of 3 million dollars. Two teams from India, Orangutan and True Rippers, will also be part of this major global event.
PMGC 2025 Schedule and Stages
PMGC 2025 will take place in four different stages. Every stage plays an important role in deciding which teams make it to the Grand Finals.
The schedule is as follows:
- Gauntlet Stage: November 24 to 26 (16 Teams)
- Group Stage: November 28 to December 4 (32 Teams)
- Last Chance: December 6 to 7 (16 Teams)
- Grand Finals: December 12 to 14 (16 Teams)
Each stage reduces the number of teams, making the competition tougher day by day.
Teams in the Tournament
Popular teams like Regnum Carya, Alpha7 Esports, Alpha Gaming, and Weibo Gaming are taking part in PMGC 2025. India will be represented by Orangutan in the Gauntlet Stage and True Rippers in the Group Stage. This is a proud moment for Indian BGMI fans as both teams will get to showcase their skills on the global stage.
Tournament Format Explained
The PMGC format is designed to test consistency, teamwork, and performance under pressure.
- Gauntlet Stage (Nov 24-26)
Sixteen teams will play 18 matches across three days.
The top six teams will directly move to the Grand Finals.
The remaining teams will shift to the Group Stage. - Group Stage (Nov 28-30 and Dec 2-4)
Thirty-two teams will be divided into two groups.
Each team will play 18 matches.
Top 4 teams from each group (total 8) will qualify for the Grand Finals.
Teams placed 5th to 12th will move to the Last Chance stage.
Teams below this position will be out of the tournament. - Last Chance (Dec 6-7)
Sixteen teams will play 12 matches over two days.
Only the team that finishes first will move to the Grand Finals.
The other teams will be eliminated. - Grand Finals (Dec 12-14)
A total of 16 teams will take part:
- 6 from the Gauntlet
- 8 from the Group Stage
- 1 from the Last Chance
- 1 team invited from the host region
The champion will be decided after 18 matches across three days.
