The 2025 Gaming in Spain Conference will take place on June 26 in Madrid. It will gather important people from the Spanish and global online gaming industry. The updated schedule now features top speakers, small group workshops, and more chances to network and connect.
New Speakers Added to Conference Lineup:
Two more speakers have been confirmed for the event: Regis Dudena from Brazil’s Ministry of Finance (joining remotely) and Ewa Bakun from Clarion Gaming. They join a strong list of industry leaders already set to speak.
Other confirmed names include Mikel Arana (DGOJ), Xavi Muñoz (ECIJA Law), Jorge Hinojosa (Jdigital), Ester Martin-Ortega (Flutter), and Ed Birkin (H2 Gambling Capital).
Willem van Oort, Founder of Gaming in Spain, said the conference will still mainly focus on Spain’s regulated iGaming market but will also include wider regional insights: “We are extremely pleased with this year’s speaker lineup. GiS Conference attendees will hear directly from both the Spanish and Brazilian regulators, as well as many other key decision makers. Considering the growing attractiveness of various Latin American markets, we thought it opportune to look a bit beyond Spain’s borders this year. Even so, the event’s primary focus remains Spain’s regulated iGaming market, and if your organization is active in this market, either as an operator or service provider, this event is not to be missed.”
There will also be a special session led by Dr. Andreas Ditsche, CEO of iGaming.com, who will talk about how Spanish iGaming users search and what they prefer. This will give helpful insights to companies working in the Spanish market.
Workshops and Networking Opportunities:
On June 25, a day before the main event, three detailed workshops will be held. Run by Chevron Consultants, the sessions will cover topics like internal audits and the EU AI Act, making websites GDPR-compliant, and building a strong learning culture in iGaming companies. These workshops are free for anyone registered for the conference.
The event also offers plenty of chances to network—during coffee breaks, lunch, and evening drinks. On June 26, all attendees are also invited to the Jdigital Awards ceremony, which honors big contributions to Spain’s online gambling industry.
