Iuno is one of the newest 5-star Resonators in Wuthering Waves 2.6, and she has quickly caught attention for her unique playstyle. As an Aero sub-DPS, she brings both support and strong damage, making her a valuable choice for many team setups. While she fits well with characters like Jiyan and Augusta, her kit allows her to shine in several lineups if you know how to use her correctly.
This guide will explain her abilities, best playstyle, and tips to make the most of her potential.
Iuno’s Kit Explained
Iuno isn’t the easiest character to pick up, but once you learn her states and Forte bar management, she becomes a powerhouse. Here’s a breakdown of her kit:
- Three Combat States: Iuno has Regular, Half Moon, and Full Moon stances, shown through her Forte gauge.
- Switching States: Using her Resonance Skill or Ultimate triggers the Lunar Cycle – Half Moon. From here, pressing jump changes her to Full Moon, which is where she deals her maximum damage.
- Full Moon Power: In Full Moon, Iuno’s Basic Attacks are upgraded with Aero damage scaling from her Resonance Liberation. These attacks also heal allies and restore Concerto Energy.
- Forte Bar Usage: Her enhanced Basic Attacks and “Arc Beyond the Edge” skill consume the Forte bar. Resonance Liberation in Full Moon restores part of the bar, letting her extend combos.
- Absolute Fullness Attack: At 100 Concerto Energy, Iuno unleashes a powerful Heavy Attack. This ends the Lunar Cycle, heals nearby allies, and summons the Full Moon Domain, which regenerates HP and stamina over time.
- Buffs in the Domain: Allies inside the domain gain Blessing of the Wan Light, which stacks up to 10 times, giving up to 40% bonus damage.
This mix of healing, buffing, and heavy Aero damage makes her a hybrid support-DPS with incredible team value.
Best Rotation for Iuno
To unlock her full potential, you need to rotate through her abilities smoothly. Here’s the optimal sequence:
- Start with Intro Skill: Enter the field with Iuno.
- Cast Resonance Skill: This activates Half Moon mode.
- Press Jump: Switch to Full Moon stance.
- Use Enhanced Basic Attacks & Arc Beyond the Edge: Deal high Aero damage while generating Concerto Energy.
- Trigger Absolute Fullness Heavy Attack: At 100 Concerto Energy, summon the Full Moon domain for healing and buffs.
- Switch Out: Use Outro Skill to pass buffs to your main DPS, letting them capitalize on her support.
