ICE Barcelona 2026 Day 2: ICE Barcelona 2026 kept the momentum going with a second day that felt just as dynamic as the opening. More than 65,000 attendees from 186 countries filled the venue, joined by 600 exhibitors and over 200 speakers, all contributing to a packed program of innovation, networking, and live experiences.
With rain falling outside, the exhibition halls became even busier. Visitors lingered longer inside the pavilions, where brand stands evolved into immersive spaces packed with giveaways, interactive features, and exclusive launches that drew steady crowds throughout the day.
ICE Barcelona 2026 Day 2: Football icons bring star power to the floor
One of the biggest talking points of the day was the arrival of football legends. Amusnet marked its tenth anniversary with a striking two-level stand spanning 1,224 m², proudly themed around “Winning Together.” Fans gathered in large numbers as Hristo Stoichkov hosted a popular “Meet & Greet,” signing shirts and footballs between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Elsewhere on the show floor, Digitain created its own buzz by welcoming Alessandro Del Piero and Luís Figo. Attendees were able to meet both stars in person and take part in a live raffle for signed jerseys, turning the moment into one of the most memorable highlights of the exhibition.
ICE Barcelona 2026 Day 2: Big ideas from expert-led sessions
Away from the spotlight, the conference program delivered plenty of practical value. A series of workshops addressed key challenges shaping the industry today.
- Cybercrime & Fraud sessions looked at strategies for preventing and responding to digital threats.
- Entry into New Markets focused on growth potential in regions such as Brazil and Latin America.
- Safer Gambling workshops explored policies and tools designed to support responsible gaming.
During these discussions, Alejandro H. Tengco, Chairman of PAGCOR, highlighted the growing need to tackle illegal operators and reinforce player-centered regulation as online gaming continues to expand.
ICE Barcelona 2026 Day 2: Responsible gaming takes a larger stage
This year’s event placed a stronger spotlight on responsibility and sustainability. The Safer Gambling Zone SGZ reached its largest size since 2018, bringing together 27 organizations from ten countries. Its open layout and central location between pavilions 4 and 5 made it a natural meeting point for conversations about innovation and the future of safer play.
At the same time, Spain’s Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling officially launched the Sustainable Gambling Zone, with Mikel Arana attending the opening. He reinforced that safe gambling is a structural priority in Spain and encouraged the industry to focus on player protection through prevention, transparency, and ethical technology.
A clear message for the industry
Day two of ICE Barcelona 2026 highlighted the balance the industry is striving for. Entertainment and star appearances captured attention, while deeper discussions around regulation, new markets, and sustainability set the direction for the future. Together, these elements once again confirmed ICE Barcelona’s role as a global stage where the next chapter of gaming is being written.
