Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) fans are getting ready for one of the biggest esports tournaments of the year. The Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2026 is all set to bring together the best MLBB teams from different parts of the world. The tournament will be held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in France and will run from July 1 to August 1, 2026.
This year’s event is expected to be bigger than ever before. With a massive prize pool of $3 million and some of the strongest teams in the world participating, fans can expect thrilling matches during the competition. Every team will be looking to create history and lift one of the most respected trophies in Mobile Legends esports.
A Month Full of Action Awaits
The tournament will be played in two stages. The first phase is the Wildcard Stage and it will take place from July 1 to July 4. Here, ten teams will battle for a single spot on the Main Stage.
That means one team will live through the Wildcard round and the other nine teams will see their journey end.
The Main Stage will begin on July 22 and continue until August 1. Fifteen teams will go directly into the championship with one Wildcard Winner.
The competition will feature teams from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America and India and it’s going to be a tough one.
MSC 2026 Is Part of the Esports World Cup
The Mid-Season Cup is also one of the important events of the Esports World Cup 2026. 25 different game titles will be featured in the global esports festival with a total prize pool of $75 million.
“Being part of such a huge event, MSC becomes even more important.” Players are playing for money but also for international recognition and regional pride.

Teams to Watch Closely
Many fans will be looking at ONIC of Indonesia and Bigetron By Vitality. “Both organisations have a rich history in MLBB Esports and are always good on the big stage.”
Again, strong teams will carry the flag of the Philippines. Team Liquid PH and Team Falcons PH have been in great form all year and are among the title favourites.
The Selangor Red Giants of Malaysia also arrive at the event with high hopes. They won the championship in 2024 and then lost in the finals last season. They will be looking to get back to the summit this season.
Meanwhile, Team Spirit, Aurora Gaming, Geekay Esports and Guangzhou Gaming could be dark horses who surprise stronger opponents.
New Regions Enter the Global Stage
Asia is not the only new representation at MSC, with other regions like Western Europe and Thailand also being included for the first time.
This makes the tournament more diverse and more competitive than ever before. International events are always more fun, because new regions mean new strategies, new playstyles, and unpredictable games.
