Disruption Assists are earned when certain specialists’ abilities are used by the player to disable an enemy in the game. These can be any disruptive tool or ability, take the EMP grenades, or simply jamming the enemy’s gun so that your team member can then finish off the enemy.

Using a specific throwable item

A specific throwable item must be used by the player to hack or stun the opponent/enemy, and while this is happening, a teammate of the player should kill the stunned opponent. This is a way to complete the Disruption Assist mission in Road to Battlefield 6 week 5. 

EMP Grenades

• EMP Grenades are not available from the start of the game, but they remain essential for this mission and, over time, become a go-to gadget for challenges that are disruption-based.
• A player must be on level 30 to unlock them in Battlefield 2042. 
• They are the throwable items that are required ot attain Disruption Assists. Strategically using them in high-traffic areas can prove to be super useful to disrupt the enemy. 

Disruptions through Specialists

• Rao (Uses Cyberwarfare Suite to disable and stun vehicles and players) and Blasco (Uses X6- Infiltration Device to jam the targeted tech while highlighting enemies) are two members of the Recon class who have the ability to disrupt enemies easily.
• They have unique abilities that can cause disruption to the opponents.
• Though Rao is the specialist that is unlocked early on from the start, Blasco requires that the player reach level 33, which is a long way for newer players. 

Using Disruption Assists for your benefit

• Disruption Assist helps the player earn rewards and can unlock content. It adds to the tactical depth of the game, supports the teammates, and creates moments that can be taken advantage of to finish off the enemy.
• It takes the game beyond just shooting by introducing some combat in the midst of it.
• Tactical games like these are fun, as you have specialists that can help you kill the enemy and more powerful specialists that unlock as you dive deep into the game and keep on leveling up. 

Pro Tips – 

• Coordinate with teammates so that they know you intend to disrupt someone over audio or chat. 
• Disruption is easy in crowds when people are grouped, since there is a greater possibility of your enemy dying in the game in disrupted crowds.
• The disruption effects have a limited duration during which they stay active, so ensure that the effect lasts until you finish the opponent, and do not use them too early on.

All in all, disruption assists are critical for team success in the game as they help not just with the weekly missions in Battlefield 2042 but helps you enhance your role as a true team member where it matters, on the battlefield.
