Esports World Cup 2026 Club Partner Program Opens With Major Funding Boost

The Esports World Cup Foundation has officially opened applications for its 2026 Club Partner Program, marking another big step toward expanding global esports. After a strong response to last year’s initiative, the foundation is set to invest 20 million dollars into 40 top esports clubs, offering financial support and new opportunities to help them grow ahead of the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

A Bigger and Better Program for 2026

The new edition of the program aims to strengthen esports clubs with six-figure funding packages. This support is designed to help teams activate their players, build stronger communities, and create meaningful engagement throughout the year. Clubs chosen for the program will also get priority access to an expanded Super Fan Program, which focuses on rewarding committed fans through digital and live experiences.

Applications opened on November 18 and will remain available until December 18, 2025. Eight top clubs from the 2025 Championship standings will be invited automatically, while the remaining spots will be filled through a competitive application process.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, clubs must show:

  • A strong history of participating in multiple esports titles
  • An active and growing fanbase
  • A large social media presence
  • A stable business structure

The foundation has also made it clear that the initiative is about long-term growth, not competitive advantage. Clubs will still need to qualify for Esports World Cup tournaments through the standard qualification routes for each title.

Focus Regions for 2026

The EWCF wants the program to push esports in key global markets. Regions such as India, China, Southeast Asia, and Latin America are expected to receive special focus due to their rapidly growing esports communities.

A Step Toward a Stronger Global Esports Ecosystem

The foundation believes this program will help unite fans, clubs, and creators as the Esports World Cup 2026 approaches. With fresh investment and more structured support, the goal is to help clubs grow sustainably while increasing global participation in competitive gaming.
