The event is currently being attended by 20,000 delegates, 350+ speakers, 3,500 affiliates, 3,000 operators, 250+ exhibitors, and 51% C-level executives. The think tank of the online gaming industry will share their ideas on exploring and enhancing the dynamics of iGaming.
SiGMA Asia Poker Tournament
The first event was the poker tournament, which was part of a full-day networking event marking the start of SiGMA Asia’s second event in the Philippines since its 2023 launch last July.
The Poker tournament featured a Texas hold’em poker cash game, attracting both seasoned players and enthusiastic beginners. The atmosphere at the tournament was electrifying as guests tested their skills and luck at the tables.
SiGMA Asia Awards 2024 And Auction
The next event on the line was the SiGMA Asia Awards, which brought focus to the projects and people. 26 prestigious awards were up for grabs at the lavish gala event. Some of the notable winners of SiGMA Asia Awards 2024 were Gamingsoft (BEST AGGREGATOR), BETER (Best E-SPORT PROVIDER), CasinoPlus (BEST CASINO OPERATOR), Digitain (BEST VIRTUAL SPORTS PROVIDER) and TC Gaming (BEST PLATFORM PROVIDER).

David Meltzer On The Future Of Revenue In Sports
David Meltzer, who was present at the event, shared insights on the Future of Gaming and Professional Sports today during his keynote speech at SiGMA Asia 2024. David uncovered innovative industry possibilities in his speech, focusing on tech and sports intersections.
He focused on the future of revenue in sports, and the impact of AI and technology. He explained: “Especially middle-aged people, they buy things on emotion for logical reasons.” He added: “Think about all the things we can do to enhance the engagement and the emotional attachment.”
SiGMA Asia 2024 Conference
The first day of the conference agenda at the event included an interesting fireside conversation, mainly focused on the impact of tax cuts on gambling winners in the Philippines.
The conversation also shifted to the idea of co-mingling lottery products across Asia. While Patrick Kinghorn posed the question of whether an ‘Asia billions’ lottery could be feasible, similar to the EuroMillions, on the other hand, Mel Robles suggested the idea of a ‘world lottery as a cultural and unifying event’.
