This week in GTA Online (November 6–12, 2025) marks the end of the Halloween event and the return of regular weekly updates. Rockstar Games has brought back the Cayo Perico Motor Wars mode, a fast-paced Adversary Mode set on Cayo Perico Island. Players can earn 2x GTA$ and 2x RP while playing it this week, making it one of the best ways to make quick money.
How To Play Cayo Perico Motor Wars In GTA Online
Step 1: Start Cayo Perico Motor Wars from the Menu
To find the mode, you don’t need to travel to Cayo Perico through the Heist. It can be started directly from the menu.
Follow these steps:
- Enter a GTA Online session.
- Press pause and go to the Online tab.
- Select Jobs.
- Choose Rockstar Created.
- Scroll down to Adversary Mode.
- Look for Cayo Perico Motor Wars in the list.
If the event is active, you will also see 2x Cash and RP displayed under the mode’s name.
Step 2: Set Up and Begin the Match
Once you start the job, you will move to the setup screen. Here, you can invite friends or wait for other players to join.
- Minimum players required: 4
- Maximum players allowed: 28
Teams will be split into two or four squads, depending on how many players are in the lobby.
How the Game Mode Works
- All players parachute onto Cayo Perico.
- The island is filled with weapons, military vehicles, and armor.
- The goal is simple: be the last team (or player) left alive.
- The playable area shrinks over time, just like a Battle Royale, forcing players closer together.
Matches can vary depending on how players approach them.
Some rounds may be strategic and slow, while others can turn chaotic very quickly.
Why Play Motor Wars This Week
- 2x Money and RP makes it one of the highest-value modes to grind.
- The mode is fun, fast, and competitive.
- You can play alone or with friends.
