Quán Duì is a fun and engaging Rummy-style card recreation for two to six players. The main goal of the sport is to collect eight pairs of matching playing cards before your warring parties. In case you reap this, you win the round and declare the pot.

Setting Up the Game
Before playing, all gamers agree on an ante, that’s the amount every participant contributes to the pot. The winner of the round claims the pot, and if they win with a special hand, they can earn double the stakes.
- A provider is chosen randomly for the first round. In later rounds, the winner of the previous game turns into the provider.
- The supplier shuffles the deck and permits the participants to their left to cut the cards.
- The dealer then offers them 16 playing cards and offers 15 playing cards to all different gamers, distributing them in batches of 5.
- The ultimate deck is located in the center of the center of the center office.
Understanding the Cards and Pairings
Quán Duì uses a deck of one hundred and twenty playing cards divided into three suits: Ben, Sou, and Wan. Each shape carries four equal sets, and each set has playing cards numbered from 1 to 9. Additionally, there are three unique cards: Da Hong, Xiao Hong, and Ba Shu, each worth 1.
Pairs can be formed in two ways:
- Dui Pairing: A pair of completely identical cards.
- Ka Pairing: A pair of cards with the same value but from different suits (e.g., a Ben 4 can pair with a Wan 4).
The special cards (Da Hong, Xiao Hong, and Ba Shu) can only be used for Ka pairings.
Gameplay Rules
The dealer starts the game by discarding one card. The turn order moves counterclockwise, but it may shift based on who claims the discarded card.
Drawing Cards and Discarding:
- Gamers take turns drawing and discarding playing cards.
- After a participant discards a card, other players can claim it in the following precedence order:
A participant who can right now win the sport with the card.
A participant who can use the card to finish a Dui pairing.
The subsequent participants are in flip order (if no other gamers claim it).
If multiple players need the card for a Dui pairing, the player closest to the right of the discarder gets priority. Once a Dui is formed, the pairing must be placed face-up before discarding a card.
If no one claims the discarded card, the next player can either take it or draw from the stockpile. After drawing, the player must discard a card unless they have won the game.
Winning the Game
A player wins when they form a full hand of 8 pairs (16 cards) and reveal it.
- Standard Win: The player collects 8 pairs and claims the pot.
- Double Pot Win: If all 8 pairs are Dui pairings, the winner receives double the ante from each player.
- Draw: If the stockpile runs out before a winner is declared, the game ends in a draw, and the next round begins with the previous dealer.
