PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 is finally confirmed, and the dates are out. The world’s biggest mobile esports tournament will run from 24 November to 14 December 2025 in Thailand. This year, a total of 39 teams from across the globe will compete for glory. Excitingly, Indian fans have something big to cheer about as three Indian teams can qualify through the BGMI Showdown 2025 and BGMI International Cup 2025.

PMGC 2025 Format: Four Stages of Action

The championship will follow a four-stage format, keeping the excitement high at every step.

The Gauntlet (24-26 November)

The tournament begins with The Gauntlet, where 16 teams from regional championships will battle it out. Across 18 matches in 3 days, only the top 6 teams will directly enter the Grand Finals. The remaining teams will shift to the Group Stage.

Group Stage (28-30 November & 2-4 December)

The Group Stage will see 32 teams in action, including squads from regional points and 10 teams carried over from The Gauntlet. They will be split into two groups of 16. Each team will play 18 matches, and the top 4 from each group (8 teams total) will move to the Grand Finals.

  • Teams finishing 5th to 12th will get another chance in the Last Chance round.
  • Teams below 12th place will be knocked out.

Last Chance (6-7 December)

In this stage, 16 teams will fight across 12 matches in 2 days. Only one winner will qualify for the Grand Finals, while the other 15 teams will be eliminated.

Grand Finals (12-14 December)

The ultimate stage of PMGC 2025 will feature 16 elite teams:

  • 6 from The Gauntlet
  • 8 from the Group Stage
  • 1 from Last Chance
  • 1 host country invite

They will play 18 matches across 3 days, and the team with the highest points will be crowned the PMGC 2025 Champion.
