4Thrives Esports became the champions of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) South Asia Finals after delivering outstanding performances throughout the tournament. The event officially ended on May 17, 2026, with the Pakistani squad completely dominating the competition.
The team finished in first place with 242 total points, including four Chicken Dinners and an incredible 168 eliminations. Their aggressive gameplay and consistent performances helped them stay ahead of every other team during the finals.
Star player Falak also received the MVP award after an excellent showing across the event.
Nepal Teams Also Shine In The Tournament
Teams from Nepal also impressed fans during the South Asia Finals.
Horaa Esports secured second place with 216 points. The squad managed to collect four Chicken Dinners along with 145 eliminations, showing strong consistency during the event.
Another Nepalese team, Trained to Kill, ended the tournament in third place with 188 points and three Chicken Dinners.
The top three teams have now officially qualified for the PMGO 2026 Season 1 Main Event, which will be played in Indonesia from June 2 to June 7.
The international tournament will feature 32 teams from different regions fighting for a massive $500,000 prize pool.

DRS Gaming Miss Qualification By Small Margin
DRS Gaming finished in fourth place with 182 points and four Chicken Dinners. The team narrowly missed qualification for the PMGO Main Event despite a strong performance.
LF Esports and Abrupt Slayer secured fifth and sixth positions with 138 and 137 points respectively.
Meanwhile, AS i8 Esports finished seventh with 126 points after an average run in the finals.
Several other teams struggled to keep up with the top squads during the tournament. Galactic Esports, Seventh Element, and Red Saints ended near the bottom of the standings.
South Asia Teams Ready For Global Challenge
The PMGO South Asia Finals showed how quickly the competitive PUBG Mobile scene is growing across Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
Teams like 4Thrives, Horaa Esports, and Trained to Kill now have the opportunity to represent the region internationally next month in Indonesia.
