Asia Cup 2025 Clash Squad Results: Avida X KDC Wins

The Clash Squad mode of the Free Fire Max Asia Cup Invitational 2025 ended on December 21 with an impressive victory for Avida X KDC from Thailand. The team once again showed why they were the best performers of the event. Earlier this month, they had already won the Battle Royale mode, making their overall tournament run truly outstanding.

With this win, the Thai team completed a clean sweep of the Asia Cup Invitational and proved their dominance across both formats.

Avida X KDC dominate the Clash Squad mode

The Clash Squad stage featured the top 16 teams from the Battle Royale event. These teams competed in a single-elimination bracket from December 18 to December 21. Early matches were played in a Best of 3 format, while the Semifinals and Grand Final followed a Best of 5 format.

Avida X KDC started their journey by defeating Malaysia’s Maqna Esports. They then crushed India’s Reckoning Esports in the Quarter Finals. In the Semifinals, they outplayed Indonesia’s Bigetron by Vitality with ease. In the Grand Final, Avida completely controlled the match and defeated India’s NG Pros to lift the trophy.

Their teamwork, aim control, and round management stayed consistent throughout the event.

NG Pros finish as runners-up after tough road

India’s NG Pros ended the Clash Squad mode in second place. Their journey was not easy. They initially lost their first match against GOW Esports, but GOW was later disqualified due to rule violations. This decision allowed NG Pros to move forward.

After that, NG Pros defeated Meta Ninza in the Quarter Finals and then beat Vietnam’s P Esports in the Semifinals with a strong performance. However, they could not keep the same momentum in the Grand Final and fell short against Avida X KDC.

Still, their runner-up finish was a big achievement for the Indian squad.

Prize pool distribution for Clash Squad mode

The Clash Squad mode had a total prize pool of 15,000 dollars. Except for the disqualified team GOW Esports, all teams received prize money based on their final ranking.

  • Avida X KDC took home 4,000 dollars
  • NG Pros earned 2,000 dollars
  • Bigetron by Vitality and P Esports received 1,500 dollars each
  • Team Falcons, DRS Gaming, Reckoning Esports, and Meta Ninza earned 700 dollars each
  • Maqna Esports, Kagendra, GodLike Esports, Total Gaming Esports, Revenant XSpark, GB Esports, and Nightmare Esports received 400 dollars each

Disappointing run for several big teams

Several well-known teams could not make a deep run in the Clash Squad mode. GodLike Esports, Total Gaming Esports, Revenant XSpark, Nightmare Esports, and Kagendra were knocked out early after losing their first matches. Expectations were high from these teams, but the competition proved to be too strong.
