SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 Day 1: A Marathon Of Networking, Panels, And Parties

Day 1 of the SBC Summit 2025 in Lisbon lived up to its hype, bringing together thousands of industry professionals for nonstop action across conference stages, networking lounges, and vibrant evening parties. With 30,000+ visitors expected by Thursday, more than 700 exhibitors, and an exhibition across 135,000 members, this is officially the largest SBC Summit ever held and the energy on Tuesday proved why Lisbon has become the global hub of iGaming this week.

A Nonstop Day of Activity

If you followed the footsteps of a typical attendee, the day easily stretched over 15 hours. The schedule began with early-morning networking at Vegas Queens, shifted to hosting panels on the Affiliate Stage, and included exhibitor visits like the Optimove booth (A555) to catch up with Vegas Kings. From there, many headed to evening dinners and back-to-back parties hosted by brands including iGB Executive, SPRIBE/Next.io, and AffPapa’s iGaming Club.

The main exhibition at FIL featured impressive stands from some of the biggest names in gaming and tech innovation:

  • Amusnet welcomed visitors with a dynamic showcase of its portfolio.
  • Cactus Gaming revealed a refreshed booth setup, sparking curiosity.
  • Slotegrator engaged attendees with its iGaming solutions.
  • Ortak x Creedroomz surprised visitors with a creative booth structure.
  • SOFTSWISS stuck to its core message with the bold motto “winning combination.”

The themed areas Sports Betting, iGaming, Media & Affiliates, eSports & Creators, Casinos, and Player Protection were buzzing with activity. These spaces gave a platform for deeper conversations on both business growth and responsible gaming.

One of the standout sessions of Day 1 centered on Brazil: “Brazil’s Leaders The Bubble That Won’t Burst Remembering the Launch of Sports Betting.” The discussion drew a large audience, reflecting global interest in the rapidly developing Brazilian market.

Another major theme was Player Protection, which remains a top priority as the industry balances growth with responsibility. In parallel, panels on affiliates and marketing captured attention from startups and established firms alike.

After-Hours: Dinners and Parties

Once the expo closed, Lisbon’s nightlife took over. Networking dinners transitioned smoothly into branded parties, creating spaces where business mixed with entertainment. The iGB Executive Dinner provided an intimate setting for senior leaders, while later parties like the SPRIBE/Next.io event and AffPapa’s iGaming Club kept the crowd going until well past midnight.

For many, the fun was just as important as the business strengthening relationships that last far beyond the summit.

What’s Next on Day 2

Day 2 promises even more action, with a packed agenda at the Super Stage, including a much-anticipated panel on “Women in Tech, Gambling and Sports” scheduled for 12:00. Attendees are gearing up for discussions that go beyond business, tackling diversity and innovation in the industry.

With momentum building and only two days left, SBC Summit Lisbon 2025 is already proving to be a milestone edition, mixing hard-hitting insights, non-stop networking, and unforgettable moments.
