SiGMA Central Europe B2C Awards Auction Raises €73,800 for Global Good: At the heart of Rome’s historic Cinecittà Studios, the B2C SiGMA Central Europe Awards on November 4 transcended glitz and glamour with a purpose-driven twist. Beneath the studio lights and cinematic grandeur, the gaming industry came together not just to celebrate excellence, but to give back. The evening’s charity auction raised an impressive €73,800 for the SiGMA Foundation, reinforcing the community’s commitment to philanthropy and progress beyond business.

An Evening of Celebration and Compassion

As guests gathered amid the storied backdrops of Cinecittà, the B2C Awards ceremony evolved from recognition into reflection. The excitement in the room reached new heights during the auction, when applause echoed through the hall after each winning bid.

  • Bonga, Ethiopia: Installation of water tanks at Wush Wush Kindergarten and new classrooms near the Women’s Empowerment Centre to promote education and community growth.

  • Jimma, Ethiopia: Refurbishment of St. Peter & St. Paul Primary School to provide safer, weatherproof learning spaces for students.

  • Kasese, Uganda: Construction of a new kindergarten and expansion of the primary school, increasing educational access for local children.

  • Iquitos, Peru: Rebuilding of the Casa Betania Night Shelter and creation of a River Repository with dormitories for patients awaiting care.

  • Puerto Barrios, Guatemala: Expansion of the Clay Filters & Clean Stoves Project, bringing clean water and safer cooking methods to rural communities.

  • Philippines: A range of initiatives including e-learning WiFi access, feeding programmes, solar upgrades, and continued development of the Batiawan Community Centre.

Each initiative is designed to create lasting change – improving education, health, and opportunity for underserved regions worldwide.
