The final exhibition day of SiGMA World Rome 2026 took place on November 5 at Fiera Roma, closing three days of business meetings, conference sessions, networking and entertainment.
The summit brought together operators, affiliates, game developers, investors, technology providers and industry leaders. Artificial intelligence, fraud prevention, player protection and the future of work were among the biggest topics on the final day.
AI and Fraud Prevention Lead Discussions

Artificial intelligence was one of the main themes of Day 3.
One key session, The New Era of Risk: AI-Driven Fraud Networks & the Intelligence Gap, looked at how criminals are using AI to create more advanced fraud methods, including deepfakes. The panel also discussed the need for better investigation tools and stronger cooperation between businesses and compliance teams.
Other sessions explored how companies can improve their anti-fraud strategies and respond to increasingly organised financial crime.
Player Protection and Responsible Gaming

Player protection was another important topic.
The session From Compliance to Care: The Ultimate Player Protection Toolkit discussed how companies can use technology, data and human support to reduce harm while maintaining player trust.
Another discussion looked at market competition, regulation and how opening a market can affect control of gaming activities.
AI’s Bigger Role in iGaming

The conference program also extended beyond fraud and security.
Speakers discussed how AI has evolved from simple tools to more advanced systems capable of handling complex business tasks. One session looked at AI agents and digital wallets, another at the hidden costs of adopting AI.
The program also examined jobs. In the post-AI skills gap session we discussed what skills iGaming companies might need as AI becomes an ever more embedded part of day-to-day operations.
These talks showed that AI is no longer a technology topic. Now it’s part of business planning, security, recruitment and day-to-day work.
Grand Prix Ends With Big Prizes

Away from the conference rooms, the SiGMA Grand Prix by SOFTSWISS entered its final day.
The go-karting competition ran from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, giving attendees a final chance to improve their lap times and overall positions. The overall winners were announced at 5:30 PM.
The top three drivers received a Rolex watch for first place, an iPhone for second place and AirPods for third place.
The Grand Prix added a fun, competitive side to the business-focused summit and gave delegates another way to connect outside the exhibition floor.
One Point by Bloko Padel

Another sporting attraction was One Point by Bloko Padel.
The competition used a simple but high-pressure format: every match, from the group stage to the grand final, was decided by a single point. That meant one good shot could win the entire match.
The activity ran from 10:15 AM to 6:00 PM, with the grand final scheduled for 5:00 PM.
SiGMA Italia Awards Close the Summit

The SiGMA Italia Awards at Corsie Sistine di Santo Spirito in Sassia, Rome, was the highlight of the final evening.
The ceremony celebrated the companies, media organizations, projects and professionals of the regulated gaming industry in Italy. It held a reception, dinner, entertainment and an art auction to raise funds for the SiGMA Foundation.
The awards provided a strong closing nite for the Rome edition, recognizing the people and companies that are helping to define Italy’s gaming market.
Forbes Italia Recognises Industry Leaders
The final day also highlighted the people shaping Italy’s regulated gaming sector.
Forbes Italia and SiGMA World unveiled their 2026 Top 50 Italy Regulated Gaming list, recognising industry leaders across different areas of the market.
The recognition added another important moment to the closing day of the summit.
Students Connect With the Industry
The final day also focused on young talent and future career opportunities.
Through the SiGMA Rome Student Pass, university students were able to attend the final day, meet industry professionals and learn more about career opportunities in gaming and technology.
This was especially relevant after the AI and skills-gap discussions, which looked at the changing skills companies will need in the future.
Rome Edition Comes to an End

SiGMA World Rome 2026 rounded off their three-day exhibition program at Fiera Roma, with the last exhibition day in the books.
The event mixed serious industry discussions with networking, sport and awards. The business program was energized by the Grand Prix and One Point padel competition, with key themes being AI, fraud prevention, regulation and player protection.
The Rome edition offered a packed experience for the global iGaming community, from opening day crowds and celebrity appearances to the final panels and SiGMA Italia Awards.
