How To Use The New Valorant Replay System

Riot Games has dropped the latest VALORANT Patch 11.06, and it’s a mix of celebration and long-awaited updates. The developers proudly announced that 40,000 bots have been banned in the past six months. This step is expected to make matchmaking smoother and fairer for players worldwide.

The announcement was made by Ashley Tsao, Riot’s Global Community Manager, who even cheekily added “01100010 01111001 01100101 00100000 01100010 01101111 01110100 01110011,” which translates to “bye bots” in binary.

But beyond the celebration, Patch 11.06 finally delivers one of the most requested features by players: the Replay system.

VALORANT Replay System: What It Does

The Replay feature is now live on PC, giving players a complete breakdown of their matches. This tool is not only useful for casual players but also a game-changer for competitive players and coaches.

With Replay, you can:

  • Watch from all 10 players’ first-person perspectives
  • Use a third-person free camera view
  • Pause, slow down, or fast-forward gameplay (.1x to 8x speeds)
  • Jump to specific rounds or moments in the match
  • Toggle minimap and HUD visibility
  • Access the combat report anytime during the review

This means players can finally study mistakes, review strategies, and track key plays in detail. For esports professionals, it opens doors to deeper tactical analysis, similar to tools used in other competitive games like CS:GO or Dota 2.

Release Dates Across Regions

  • PC (Global): Replay system is live with Patch 11.06.
  • PC (China): Available starting October 9 with Patch 11.07b.
  • Consoles: The feature arrives on November 11 or 12 (depending on the region) with Patch 11.10 at 09:00 PT.

This staggered release ensures stability and smooth integration before going fully global.

Other Patch 11.06 Updates

While Replay is the star of the update, Riot also made a few important adjustments:

  • Fixed a rare bug where Yoru and Reyna reappeared in their original locations after invisibility ended.
  • Removed the RawInputBuffer setting from PC performance options.
  • Fixed how New Player Tips were displayed on consoles.
  • Known Issue: On consoles, dropped weapons and the Spike highlight incorrectly when players are simply nearby. Riot confirmed this will be fixed in Patch 11.07.
