WWE 2K26 has received its latest update, and while Patch 1.10 is not packed with huge new features, it’s probably the kind of update many players have been waiting for the most. Instead of focusing on flashy additions, this patch mainly targets bugs, gameplay issues, and problems that had been frustrating the community since launch.
A lot of attention this time has gone toward Universe Mode, which has been one of the most popular parts of the game but also one of the most unstable. Players had been running into all kinds of strange issues, from broken Money in the Bank cash-ins to match cards glitching out completely. Some users even reported duplicate wrestlers appearing in matches or custom championships refusing to show up properly during promos.
According to the patch notes, Visual Concepts has now cleaned up many of those problems. Universe Mode received several stability fixes, along with improvements to custom matches, rivalry outcomes, and superstar assignments. Players who spend most of their time building long term Universe saves will probably notice the difference pretty quickly.
Gameplay itself also received some smaller but important tweaks. AI behavior was adjusted to stop repetitive sequences during matches, and certain moves involving springboard finishers and taunts should trigger more naturally now. Alternate attires selected before matches are also finally working correctly, which sounds minor but had been bothering players for weeks.
Creation Suite users in WWE 2K26 finally get several long requested fixes
The creation tools in WWE 2K26 games is a huge part of the experience, so it’s not surprising that many of the patch fixes focus there too. Create A Superstar had an especially frustrating bug where facial adjustments could reset after editing sliders. Thankfully, that issue has now been addressed.
Create An Entrance also received a surprisingly long list of fixes. Titantrons reverting back to generic videos, pyro timing issues, broken previews, and incorrect motions were all causing problems for players trying to make custom entrances. Patch 1.10 appears to smooth out most of those issues.
Create A Championship and Create A Video were also cleaned up, mainly to prevent crashes and soft locks that some players were experiencing while editing content.
Outside of bug fixes, there are a few presentation updates as well. Tiffany Stratton received a brand new entrance, while Demolition’s entrance animations were updated too. Visual bugs involving championship belts, props, blurry entrances, and clipping during cutscenes were also fixed across different superstars.
Roman Reigns and Charlotte Flair were specifically mentioned in the notes due to issues with animations and entrances not functioning correctly. Players had shared clips of some of those bugs online over the last few weeks, so it’s clear the developers were paying attention to community feedback.
Even though this update does not introduce a massive new mode or gameplay overhaul, it feels important for the overall health of WWE 2K26. The game already has plenty of content, especially with more DLC characters arriving in future Ringside Pass seasons, but stability updates like this are what help keep players invested long term.
With stars like Matt Cardona, Danhausen, Brian Pillman, and the Hardy Boyz still set to arrive in upcoming DLC packs, Visual Concepts seems focused on making sure the core game feels smoother before rolling out even more content. For many WWE 2K fans, that’s probably exactly what they wanted from this patch.
