Then, on February 6, 2025, Take-Two Interactive confirmed they still plan to release GTA 6 in Fall 2025. That’s good news! But let’s be honest – Rockstar sometimes delays games. So while Fall 2025 is the goal, it might change.
Who Can Play GTA 6 When It Releases?
Not everyone will get to play GTA 6 as soon as it launches. Here’s the deal:
- PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X/S – GTA 6 will come to these first.
- Older consoles (PS4 & Xbox One) – Sorry, it won’t be available.
- PC players – Get ready to wait.
Remember when GTA 5 came out? Console players got it in 2013, but PC gamers had to wait until 2015. That’s almost two years later! If Rockstar follows the same pattern, PC players may have to wait until 2026 or later. Annoying? Yes. Expected? Also yes.
