MOONTON Games has revealed a strong new plan for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang in Thailand as 2026 begins. After the game reached the top of national charts last year, the company now wants to push Thailand back into the global esports spotlight while also helping local creators grow. The focus is clear. Build a stronger community, support content makers, and bring top-level competition back to the country.
A New Local Partner to Grow the Community
To connect better with Thai players, MLBB has named GuyNgid as its Regional Strategy Partner. He is one of the biggest MOBA creators in Thailand, with millions of followers across social platforms. This role goes beyond being a brand face. GuyNgid will work closely with the MLBB team to guide promotions, create local-friendly content, and help shape how the game is presented to Thai fans. To support this effort, MLBB and GuyNgid are putting together a fund of more than 20 million THB. This money will go toward creator contests, short video programs, and long-term partnerships with popular gaming influencers. The aim is to give new and existing creators more chances to grow and earn through MLBB content.
Thailand Returns to the Big Esports Stage
On the competitive side, MOONTON has announced a new league called the MLBB Super League Thailand, also known as MSL Thailand. This marks the country’s official return to the global MLBB esports system.
The first season will feature eight invited teams that are well-known in the Thai esports scene:
- Buriram United Esports
- Bacon Tim
- FULL SENSE
- eArena
- SOLYX
- Tenacity
- Hydra
- King of Gamers Club
These teams bring strong fan bases and a history of high-level play. Their matches are expected to bring back the excitement that Thailand once had on the international MLBB stage.
Building for the Future
MLBB Thailand’s esports team has described this move as a long-term project, not just a short event. The goal is to create a system where players, teams, and creators can all grow together. With MLBB recently featured as a medal event at the SEA Games, the country now has more support and attention on esports than ever before. This opens the door for young players to dream bigger and aim for global tournaments in the coming years.
