The wait is almost over, as the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026 Season 1 is ready to begin next month in Indonesia. The international PUBG Mobile tournament will bring together some of the best teams from around the world for a massive competition filled with action, pressure, and high-level gameplay.
The tournament will be organized by KRAFTON and Level Infinite. The event is scheduled to take place from June 2 to June 7 at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta.
A total of 32 teams will compete for international glory as fans prepare for one of the biggest PUBG Mobile events of the year.
PMGO 2026 Season 1 Format Explained
The tournament will feature three different stages. Every phase will test the consistency, survival skills, and teamwork of all participating squads.
Group Stage (June 2–3)
The 32 teams will first be divided into two groups of 16 teams each.
Every group will play six matches. After the matches end:
- Top 6 teams from each group will directly qualify for the Grand Finals
- Teams placed from 7th to 14th will move into the Survival Stage
- Bottom 2 teams from each group will be eliminated
This opening phase is expected to be extremely competitive because every placement point will matter.
Survival Stage (June 4)
The Survival Stage will feature 16 teams fighting for the remaining Grand Finals spots.
Only four teams will survive this stage and qualify for the finals. The rest of the teams will be knocked out of the tournament.
Because of the limited qualification spots, this stage could become one of the most intense parts of the event.
Grand Finals (June 6–7)
The best 16 teams will finally compete in the Grand Finals across 12 matches.
The final day will also use the famous “Smash Rule” format. Teams must first reach a required points mark to become Match Point Eligible. After that, they must win a match to officially become champions.
This special format usually creates dramatic endings and unforgettable moments for fans.
