My journey into the digital marketing sector began with Serpzilla, marking my first ever professional introduction into this field. Over the past twelve years, I have worked in various industries from VoIP to CCTV software. I have successfully led sales and business development teams, consistently achieving targets and driving revenue growth. Regardless of the industry, the principles of running and developing a business remain consistent. Having successfully expanded multiple businesses on several occasions, I believe that applying the same strategies can yield results in any sector. Serpzilla offered me a unique opportunity to build something significant in a rapidly evolving and competitive market, which I eagerly embraced.

2. What key trends in SEO do you believe will shape the future of digital marketing?  

I foresee a growing influence of artificial intelligence in shaping the future of the SEO landscape. Generative AI has already transformed aspects such as content creation, keyword research, and backlink profile analysis. It will be essential to integrate AI tools while maintaining a balance with human expertise.

In addition to AI, SEO will increasingly emphasize long-term strategies that require substantial investment of time and resources, such as Digital PR campaigns. These strategies have demonstrated their resilience in the face of recent Google core updates.

3. How do you drive innovation in Serpzilla’s commercial strategy?  

Our team diligently monitors industry trends and developments, engaging with clients on a daily basis. We connect with leading SEO professionals at conferences worldwide each month, participate in workshops, and host our own webinars. During our team meetings, which are integral to our business routine, we assess potential new features, prioritize them, and incorporate them into our development roadmap before presenting them to our customers. For example, in April, we will launch web 2.0/crowd backlinks to enhance visibility on platforms such as Facebook and Reddit. We are proud to be the first among our competitors to offer this as a core component of our platform.

4. What major challenges have you faced in scaling Serpzilla’s operations?  

Scaling operations necessitates the recruitment of new, motivated, and qualified individuals, their training, the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives, as well as the delegation of responsibilities. The most challenging aspect is identifying the right candidate who possesses the necessary expertise and is eager to be a collaborative team member, while also demonstrating the creativity to independently address tasks as they arise.

5. Can you share a standout success story from your work at Serpzilla? 

We have doubled our revenue in 2024, establishing ourselves as a prominent link-building brand within the international SEO community. We successfully attracted top webmasters and publishers to our platform while eliminating those who were unable to meet our standards. Our reputation has grown to the extent that we are frequently invited to speak at SEO events and receive commendations from leading figures in the SEO field on platforms such as YouTube and LinkedIn.

6. What advice would you give to aspiring leaders in digital marketing?

Meet and talk with the best in SEO. They represent a valuable source of knowledge and inspiration.
