Inzoi lets you create and shape your dream Zoi, but one thing you can’t escape is death. Unlike some life simulation games, Inzoi doesn’t have an option to stop ageing. That means your Zoi will eventually pass away. But what happens after that? Let’s break it down.
What Happens When Your Zoi Dies in Inzoi?
Losing a Zoi can be a big setback, especially if you’ve spent hours building their life. When death happens, you get two choices:
1. Go Back in Time – Reload a previous save to undo the death and keep playing from an earlier moment. This option is useful if your Zoi died unexpectedly, like in an accident.
2. Move to the Afterlife – Accept the death and see what happens based on your Zoi’s karma.
The Role of Karma in the Afterlife
Inzoi adds a unique twist to death with its karma system. If your Zoi had a positive life, they will peacefully pass into the afterlife. However, if they lived a life of crime, bad decisions, or negativity, they might be stuck as a ghosts.
Here’s what happens based on your karma:
1. High Karma – Your Zoi moves on peacefully to the afterlife.
2. Low Karma – Your Zoi becomes a ghost and must perform good deeds to earn a peaceful afterlife.
The Impact of Ghosts in Inzoi
Right now, the ghost feature isn’t fully developed, but it’s expected to be a big part of the game’s August 2025 update. One major thing to note is that if too many ghosts exist in your city, creating new Zois might become harder. This adds a new layer of challenge to the game.
Can You Avoid Death in Inzoi?
For now, death is unavoidable. Your Zoi will either die from natural ageing or due to specific events in the game. The only way to delay it is by reloading an earlier save and making different choices.
